If you’ve reached out for support over the last few months and haven’t received the response you deserved, I’m truly sorry. You’ve invested in uiPress and uiXpress, and you deserve better than silence.
I want to be transparent with you about what’s been happening behind the scenes.
The Reality of This Year
This year has been one of the most challenging of my life. My dad was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, which understandably consumed much of my focus and energy. I’m incredibly grateful to say he’s beaten it, but the journey took its toll on everything, including my ability to show up for you the way I should have.
On top of that, I’ve been navigating significant personal changes while also dealing with poor mental health, which has made it increasingly difficult to maintain the level of communication and support that uiPress customers have come to expect. The combination led to complete burnout, and I found myself unable to engage in the way this community deserves.
I’ve been working on uiPress and uiXpress for nearly five years now. These projects represent an enormous part of my life, and the thought of letting down the people who’ve supported them has been weighing heavily on me.
Moving Forward
I’m not writing this just to explain or make excuses. I’m writing because things are changing, and I’m committed to doing better.
I’m feeling much better now, both personally and professionally. More importantly, I’ve brought on additional help to ensure that the support, communication, and development you expect will be consistent and reliable going forward. This isn’t just about me anymore—it’s about building a team that can serve you properly.
uiXpress 1.2.1 Is Here
Today, I’m releasing uiXpress version 1.2.1, which includes significant improvements and new features that I’m genuinely excited about. This update represents months of focused work, and I believe it demonstrates my commitment to honoring your investment in these products.
A note on the rollout: This will be a staggered release. Version 1.2.1 is available now in your account and for new customers, but we’re holding back the direct update notification for approximately one week. This gives us time to ensure compatibility across different environments and iron out any potential issues before pushing it to everyone automatically. This cautious approach is part of our commitment to delivering quality rather than rushing updates.
Rebuilding Trust
I know that trust is earned, not given, and I know that I’ll need to demonstrate through consistent action that things have changed. I’m not asking you to simply accept my word—I’m asking for the opportunity to show you through improved support, better communication, and continued development that uiPress and uiXpress are in good hands.
